Unconsciously, I always leave my biggest, least pleasant jobs until Friday afternoons, usually sometime after 4pm. It’s only then that I realise that a whole, lovely weekend stretches ahead of me, and that I’d better finally do some of the things that have been lurking on my to-do list since Monday.
This week that job has been sorting through the hundreds of photos I took in Guizhou. I’m not sure I’ll be able to look at another drum tower or wind-and-rain bridge for a while, but here for your viewing pleasure is a collection of shots taken in the days before Chinese New Year. Have a great weekend – enjoy!
P.S. Music from Amadou & Mariam – ‘Sabali’ – the perfect song for a sunny Friday
